Yang Fugui is currently the chairman of Yangzhou Guangming Cable Co. Ltd. He was a member of the Yangzhou CPPCC from 2007 to 2012, and has been the Standing Committee of the CPPCC and CPPCC and the President of Lingtang Chamber of Commerce of Gaoyou City since 2010. In 1991, Yangzhou Guangming Cable Co., Ltd. was founded. At that time, Yang Fugui led a group of people to lease Lingxing Lingtang Village group of several simple workshops, production of ordinary wires and cables. Although Guangming Company also seized part of the market, the homogeneous low-level competitive environment made it difficult for enterprises to move forward.

He went out of the enterprise, ran to the market, ran to the scientific research institutions, to understand the market situation, looking for industry information, and ultimately targeted and seized the opportunity for the rise of the international and domestic shipbuilding industry.

As the saying goes, one day is worth one thousand days. In 2000, Yang Fugui resolutely abandoned the ordinary wire and cable production line, carried out product restructuring, mainly attacked special cables for ships, and took advantage of the opportunity to carry out a radical reform of the enterprise mechanism. The throes of the transition period are still vivid to Yang Fugui. In particular, abandoning the original part of the market, making it difficult for a small township factory to make decisions.

Let's show the wise man's demeanour. Yang Fugui is determined to adjust the marketing layout, adjust the production process, recruit talents from all over the world, and improve the technical content of products. Finding the main attack point and breakthrough point, Guangming Company has a firm foothold in the special cable market, and its output value, sales, profits and taxes have doubled year after year. Now Guangming Company has ranked second in the national shipboard cable industry for many years.

In the process of booming development of enterprises, Yang Fugui has maintained a sober understanding. Although it has jumped out of the "Red Sea" of the popular cable market, there are 378 enterprises engaged in marine special wires and cables nationwide. The competition pressure is still very high, and they must speak with quality and brand names.

While doing a good job in daily production management, Yang Fugui has successfully declared and passed the certification of China, Britain, Germany, the United States, France, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Italy, Norway and other national classification societies, and has become one of the most fully certified marine cable enterprises. And the cost of getting these international "green cards" is staggering, costing more than $30 million per certificate. Iron must be hard itself. In recent years, Guangming Company has been awarded the honorary titles of "National High-tech Enterprise", "Advanced Unit of Total Quality Management" and "Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of Science and Technology in Jiangsu Province" by the Ministry of Agriculture. Yang Fugui was awarded the honorary titles of "Excellent Director (Manager) of National Minorities" by the National People's Committee. The trademark of "Yu Ling brand" used for shipping cables has been appraised as "the famous trademark of Jiangsu province".

It is hard to get away without giving up. In recent years, influenced by the European and American markets, the shipbuilding orders in China have fallen sharply, resulting in a sharp decline in the production of marine cable enterprises. In the downturn of shipbuilding industry, some enterprises that produce marine cables either change their lines or reduce their production scale. "The trough is the period of opportunity. We should do all kinds of preparations before the opportunity arrives and devote ourselves to the long-term development." Yang Fugui has new pursuits.

In the second half of 2010, Yang Fugui made a bold decision to invest a total of 1 billion yuan to expand the production of special cables for ships. At present, the first phase of the project has been completed, and more than 30 sets of domestic advanced cable manufacturing equipment have been purchased. The image of the enterprise has changed, and the production capacity has increased substantially. "I look forward with confidence to the coming of the peak production of marine cables in 2015," Yang Fugui told reporters. At the end of the 12th Five-Year Plan period, Guangming Company will have an annual production capacity of 2 billion yuan, and strive to sell 1.5 billion yuan. By then, the bottleneck that has long plagued the company's production and sales will be fundamentally solved, so that the company can truly step into the fast lane of development.

Since 2001, Yang Fugui has also served as president of the Lingtang Chamber of Commerce. He has been actively advising for the development of local economy and enterprises in Lingtang, and has been brave to assume responsibility. He has repeatedly guaranteed loans for the development of some enterprises in Lingtang in order to achieve common development and prosperity. He is also the "best charitable star of Yangzhou", often helping vulnerable groups and difficult families.

Yang Fugui said that his parents named him "Fu Gui". Now, depending on the party's good policy, they have realized their parents'expectations. But a person with good fortune and nobility is not really Fu Gui. Everyone's life is happy and happy, is the real Fu Gui.
