Generally, they can be ignited at 300 400. And the heat is greater than the same weight of coal when burning, so the cable made of these materials once ignited will not be able to self-extinguish and delay ignition, which is the main reason for the spread of cable fire.

There are some instances when the wires and cables extinguish quickly after ignition, and the network cables almost never cause accidents, but this is mainly related to the cable type, quantity, arrangement levels and environmental conditions.

The flame retardancy of a single PVC cable can not be shown by the combustion test using the old standard.
